Thaipusam in Penang (Year 2009)

I don't know what to say .. The big event is outside from my house .. And basically I took pictures of the event only on the second day (did not take pictures on the first day , they actually took coconuts and smash them to the floor) It is really crowded O__O I never thought Penang got this HUGE population .. Well some of them actually came from other states of Malaysia such as Kedah , Perlis , Perak and KL .. So you can expect endless queues , traffic jams and lots of Indians .. There are a lot of whites and chinese too ..

1) The crowds are dancing 24/7 They are so excited and happy to dance .. Day to night ..

2) Oh my god Liverpool D: ? (I'm not a fan of football , don't worry)

3) Yes .. This year's Thaipusam majorly sponsored by Hotlink :D

4) This is something you definitely will see in Thaipusam .. They actually pierce themselves with a lot of needles (ouch!)

5) OH YAY FREE DRINKS (you MUST say thank you to these people)

6) And again , look at the crowds ! Wow ..

7) Indians worship to these .. (we can too in fact!)

8) Stamina Boost +2 (long distance walking along with the crowds , you wouldn't know how far have you been)

9) They need to eat too !! (to replenish their *whistles and dances* .. Oh Roti John .__.)

10) One of the *hot markets* this year .. Selling a variety of cartoon character balloons ! (theres no Stitch >_< )

11) Bells , orchids , piercings , feathers and determination ..

12) Another nice view I caught with my camera on the way back home .. *worships*

In a nutshell , Thaipusam is really a huge experience , mostly to everyone .. If you missed this event this year , look forward on year 2010 !! It's not worth it to stay at home doing nothing .. Although there will be a *massive traffic jam* , but still its worth it :D

Introduction for my Own Creation(OC) Character

It is obvious why I create this *thing* (it is called Experiment/Stitch's cousin) .. The design and concept are owned by Disney and basically I took Stitch as a reference for this picture .. This idea came to me on March 2008 , and I made a lot of improvisation as in referring to other peoples artwork (there is a thing called deviantart , they are a lot of talented artist hanging over there)

OK .. Let's get to the point ! Why the heck I create this thing ? Reasons are :-

1) It is a tradition in deviantart . Nearly everyone have their own OC there .

2) I want to have an OC really badly for the past few years . I couldn't believe I made it already :)

3)I want adoration from other people XD It's more like hearing people saying ''Awww cute'' etc .. It is something you can't buy with money .

Q : Duh! Why do you choose purple ?

A : Simple . Because purple is my favourite colour .

Q : And why spiky hair ?

A : Because I spike my hair often , lol .

Q : What is his/her name ?

A : IT'S A HE .. HIS name is Grapefruit .

Q : Why Grapefruit ? Melons are better .

A : The answer is obvious . I like the fruit .

I actually started drawing since January 2008 .. I don't draw often but I spend a lot of time on an artwork . Patience and references are essential . Tips from professional artist are useful too . I plan to post only the newest artwork here in blogspot since I just started using it :)

Anyway , I appreciate your effort on reading this .. I didn't want to make a biodata of him (it will definitely bore you to high heaven) and post it here .. But if you are interested in drawing you really need to visit deviantart website .. Its a nice place I guarantee !

One of my hobby : Collecting Stitches

Okay .. Let it start this way .. I am known as the *Stitch Freak* whenever people know or see me .. I've been obsessed to this thing for around 8 years (Since Lilo and Stitch is released in the year 2002) .. I also do drawings for Experiments (Other Stitch's Cousin) and had my own OC (Own Creation) .. And for the past 8 years I've been collecting a lot of Stitch :D And I'm likely to share some of the photos I've just taken to you .. I can still remember every single Stitch I bought from .. *giggles*

Note : These are JUST plushies .. I still have other kinds of Stitch :P

And this is the Stitch T-Shirt I bought from Hong Kong Disneyland ... Desperate eh? I don't dare to wear this shirt often because I sweat a lot .. The quality is good though ..

Oh and this one hmm .. I framed this puzzle few days back .. COUNT ALL THE EXPERIMENTS .. It should be 48 of them :)

And this cute little buddy says thank you for the visit for my first blog page :) That's all ..
